Subject: Pray for my son with neurofibromatosis
Original Prayer Request: My son is 12 years old and suffers from Neurofibriomatosis. This disease so far has affected through learning disorders and speech difficulties. My husband and I feel that he is a blessing that God has sent to us. I feel that I am a much more patient person because of him. Because he appears to be different from the other children in his class, he has a hard time fitting in. He tries so hard to fit in that at times he makes poor choices concerning situations (this is something that many children with ADHD have difficulty with). He needs a friend that will accept him as who he is. I pray that God will send him a Christian friend that will be a positive influence in his life. I also pray that God will allow the other children to accept him and allow him to be apart of their lives as well. He is a loving child. I try to tell him that God has a wonderful plan for him in the future, but this is difficult for a child to understand. He desparately needs friends. Please join me in my prayer for God to send him a Christian friend that will positively influence his life.

I would like to thank those that have prayed for my son. His last report card has been so much better. He seems much happier than he has in the past. Please continue to pray for him. I know that through prayer all things are possible.
