| Subject: Help Us Keep Our Home! |
Original Prayer Request:
I am a single parent of two daughters, ages 12 & 14. We have lived in our home for the past 13 1/2 years. I had remarried two years ago after remaining single for 9 years. I married a man from our church who I trusted was a true born again Christian. Unfortunately, he was arrested in January for spousal/physical abuse and domestic violence. He never returned back into the home and our marriage ended in divorce this past August. I had added him to the home loan and deed, now I am desperately trying to regain the home I've raised my daughters in. We were only together for 1 yr.-3 mo. and he was just added to the mortgage in the last 6 months of that time. Please join my daughters and me in praying that God will allow us to remain in our home through qualifying for the formal assumption. In order for me to assume the existing home loan, I must qualify on my own. I can financially support the mortgage and bills. God has been so faithful to provide the things that we have lost due to the divorce in addition to matching me with a wonderful job allowing me to get caught up on the mortgage after falling behind because of lack of consistent income and providing the funds for the application processing of the assumption. My prayer request is that the mortgage company will approve the assumption. God's Blessings to all those who will faithfully lift my daughters and me up in prayer.

God's Word |

When you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. - Matthew 6:5-6
