| The project to record the New Testament in Pulaar is nearing its completion. Pulaar is the language spoken by both Fulbe and Tukulor people in West Africa. With a literate population of only 20 percent among the Tukulor and approximately 10 percent for the Fulbe, the printed word is only accessible to a small number of people. Audiocassettes will make the New Testament available to everyone who speaks Pulaar regardless of whether or not they are able to read. Pray for the successful completion of the project. Having the New Testament recorded opens up many possibilities for evangelism, discipleship and leadership training that have previously been unavailable. Pray that God would use this recording to draw people into His kingdom and to strengthen believers. |
